We are currently searching for a self-motivated, professional Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team at our corporate office in Halifax, NS.

What you will do:

Coding and entering invoices
Preparing cheque runs and resolving discrepancies
Responding to vendor and internal inquiries regarding variances and/or outstanding payments
Assisting accounting and operational staff in various financial matters
Assist with other office duties as required

What you will bring:

years' experience in a similar role

Accounting degree or diploma or equivalent is considered an asset
Strong time management and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
Experience in the property management industry is considered an asset
Experience with Yardi accounting software is considered an asset
