Accounting Analyst

Kenworth Montreal (7500 Rte Transcanadienne, Saint-Laurent, QC H4T 1A5, Canada)

Schedule :
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00PM
Permanent, 40h/week ;
~ Monday to Friday, flexibility with daytime schedule but usual schedule is 8:30AM to 5:00PM (8h/day) ;
~ Possibility to work from home : 2 days at home and 3 days at work ;
~12 statutory holidays ;
~ Being paid weekly ;
~ On-site parking ;
~ Insurance (medical, dental, divison, etc.) Be coached and mentored by truck experts ;
~ Corporate events (Christmas Party, Family Day event, etc.).

Play a key role in the process of purchase invoices' recordings and truck sales transactions, including calculating the sales representatives' commissions ;
Build trusted relationships with our suppliers by processing O&I and inventory invoices in a manner that meets payment deadlines, as well as performing routine supplier statements' audits ;
Process employee expense accounts by validating that the expense classification, tax processing and supporting documents provided are adequate ;
Ensure financial statement integrity by tracking, reconciling and accounting analysis of various assigned GL accounts, including tracking prepaid accounts;
Play a key role in the closing process of the accounting month by recording the necessary amounts;
Actively participate in the implementation, execution and monitoring of internal controls across our seven branches to ensure financial statement integrity ;
DEC in Accounting or BAC in Accounting (an asset) ;
~3 to 5 years accounting experience ;
~ Experience in accounts payable (an asset) ;
~ Good knowledge of IT tools including advanced Excel ;
~ French and English (speak, write and read - intermediate level as you will need to communicate with suppliers outside of Quebec in the processing/validating of their financial account)
