Kativik Regional Government (KRG) - Park Warden Position


The Kativik Regional Government (KRG) is seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Park Warden at Parc National Tursujuq. This full-time seasonal role involves maintaining park infrastructure, ensuring compliance with regulations, and prioritizing visitor comfort and safety.


Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing a preventive maintenance program
  • Ensuring proper vehicle maintenance
  • Managing inventory and purchasing equipment
  • Performing construction and repair tasks
  • Informing staff and visitors about safety regulations
  • Overseeing park operations and logistics
  • Guiding excursions and organizing search and rescue operations
  • Maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Technical course in a relevant field
  • Navigation experience
  • Teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Inuktitut, English, and French
  • Valid driver's license

Location: Umiujaq

Salary: $44,712/year - $75,266/year (Class 7)

Benefits:
  • Cost of living differential: $10,033/year
