Position Description
This position reports to the Mississauga Branch Manager and is a member of the Field Operations team that translates customer requirements into finished elevators.
The role involves tasks at various stages of the construction project lifecycle, from sale to customer acceptance, as well as various administrative duties to assist other team members.
Responsibilities
- Represent Delta's core values of Integrity, Service and Quality in relationships with both internal staff members and external customers and suppliers.
- Follow Delta Elevator policies and procedures, Employee Handbook, and Health & Safety Manual guidelines.
- Communicate with project stakeholders and subcontractors.
- Collect site information and measurements as requested by Mechanical Engineering.
- Coordinate deliveries with customers, the Manufacturing group, and Field Operations.
- Schedule subcontractors, crane lifts, and coordinate with other trades.
- Issue and manage change orders on approved change notices.
- Monitor work in progress to ensure completion of projects on time and on budget.
- Schedule TSSA inspections and ensure resolution of inspection directives.
- Provide job flow, progress, and maintenance billing information.
- Provide monthly progress billing and file closed job documents.
- Communicate with branches regarding longterm scheduling and crew availability.
- Manage all project related documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience dealing with customers, contractors and other trades.
- College education in project management would be an asset.
- Clean abstract & Valid driver's license

- Organizations skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, schedules and specifications.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office software.
Other Requirements
- Ability to travel in Southern Ontario to visit job sites and branch offices.
- Willingness to obtain EDM-T or EDM-F registration with the TSSA.

Salary:
$30.00-$40.00 per hour
