Team Leader Job Summary

Job description

Primary responsibilities:

Supervise all processing operations for production lines
Routinely monitor ingredient inventory and implement the firstin, firstout (FIFO) principle
Complete the inspection of the finished product to make sure it meets the requirements for size, weight and appearance.
Supervise the packaging of products and ensure proper seals
Ensure the cleanliness of the line and surrounding areas
Ensure all Quality processes and procedures (including GMP, HACCP) are fully complied with.
Maintain process on a daytoday basis to achieve set targets and yield rates at minimum cost.
Shall be capable of working in other positions and maintain the speeds of the line as set by the documented standards.
Complete all checklists and production records correctly in a timely manner
Attend production meetings
Document the applicable records ontime
Notify the HACCP Coordinator of any deviations
Other duties as assigned

Basic requirements:

Minimum 1 year of work experience in food manufacturing, preferably in meat production
Minimum 3 years experience in a leadership role
Must be able to communicate (written & verbal) in English
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic knowledge of HACCP
Must be receptive to sudden and frequent changes in priorities
Must be able to work in a cold environment
