TheKey formerly Home Care Assistance is looking for caring and compassionate individuals to become a part of our team and join our mission of Changing the Way the World Ages.

AVAILABILITY:

Thurs-Sat 8PM-8AM**PSWs in
Toronto whose main responsibilities will contribute to managing activities of daily living (ADLs) and maintain the autonomy of clients.

Applicants of interest will work primarily with the elderly in autonomous, semi-autonomous and total care conditions.

Main responsibilities:

Able to communicate in Portuguese.
Dementia experience is must.
Providing basic care relating to clients' ADLs and IADL's
Assistance with bathing, toileting, and dressing
Assisting with walking, exercise, and mobility
Giving status updates and feedback to the family
Medication reminders

Requirements and working conditions:
Valid First Aid / CPR certification**- Good knowledge in English, Portuguese.

Dynamic, punctual, reliable, optimistic, courteous and proactive
Must have passion and experience caring for the elderly
Clear Criminal Reference Check
Proof of eligibility to work in Canada
Minimum 2 professional references

Working conditions:
Position: Days, Evenings, Overnights,

Weekends Status:
Full and part-time
Personal one-on-one care with the client(s)
