As Vice-President, Risk and Portfolio Management, you'll support the account managers and associates/analysts in analyzing credit and using various risk models.
Your role- Skilled in credit analysis and financial ratio analysis
- Responsible for tracking risks and trends in portfolios (dashboard to be developed)
- Responsible for optimizing the credit approval process
- Resource person for various industry risk models (Borrower Risk Rating (BRR), Facility Risk Rating (FRR))
- Responsible for tracking the credit limits imposed on the corporate loan portfolio
This group is expanding and needs self-directed people with strong analytical skills who can balance development needs against credit and market risks.
Required skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field or master's degree, plus at least 5 years of experience in investment banking
- Advanced skills in credit analysis
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities, requests and deadlines
- Advanced knowledge of the MS Office suite (specifically, PowerPoint and Excel)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will frequently interact with partners who speak a language other than French
Preferred skills:
- CPA or CFA professional designation
- Knowledge of Capital IQ and Bloomberg systems
