About the Position:


We are currently seeking a HR Coordinator to join our team for a
1-year Contract (Maternity Leave replacement) for a full time temporary term with a possibility of getting Full-time, Permanent.


Responsibilities:

Accurately draft employment offer letters and contract amendments

Provide advice and support to managers and employees on matters such as benefits, compensation, policies, health and safety, disciplinary investigations and other HR related matters

Responsible for the processing of the Semi-Monthly payroll in QuickBooks & work with Finance to ensure Commission payment on time

Responsible for developing and revising job descriptions, as needed

Maintaining files and records with the company Software

Complete terminations and off boarding and related administrative tasks

Communicate Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and regulations to internal stakeholders.


Is fully aware of valid information as it relates to Human Resources, changes in Employment Standards Act, Occupational Health and Safety, Provincial Human Rights Act, WSIB, Labor Relations Act, etc.

Ensure accuracy and timeliness in processing all requests

Work cross departmentally to meet company needs

Other projects and duties as assigned


Qualifications Required:

2-4 years of experience as an HR Assistant performing similar duties.

College Diploma, preferably in a business administration program.

Deep understanding of business functions and operations.

Excellent knowledge of MS Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)

Great written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to secure, protect, and maintain confidential company or customer information.

Detail oriented, highly organized, and ability to work under high pressure environments is a must.


Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months
