- Report to the Automation Engineering Department
- Support the operation of automated equipment by diagnosing faults in collaboration with the maintenance technician team, including:
- PLC's
- Robotics controllers
- PC controllers
- Automated instruments
- SCADA systems
- Data Historians
- Serialization systems
- Ensure the functional operation of Floor IT Systems hardware (PC's, HMI's)
- Analyze fault data to drive improvements and upgrades
- Contribute to automation project work as needed

Baxter Castlebar is offering an exciting opportunity for a Controls Engineer to join the Engineering team. This position involves supporting various functions and assisting in the operation of automated equipment alongside maintenance technicians. The roles are available for Weekend Shifts, either during the day or at night.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
YOUR BACKGROUND:
Hold a degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Control Systems Engineering, or possess equivalent qualifications.
Other Engineering qualifications with relevant training and experience in the mentioned systems.
Experience as an Electrician, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Technician with adequate training and experience in the specified systems.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar field
