KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Set up and operate the edge bending machine and saw according to work orders and specifications.
Load raw materials onto the machine and monitor the production process to ensure proper bending and cutting.
Adjust machine settings and controls as necessary to achieve desired results.
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and make adjustments as needed.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the machines to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues that may arise during operation.
Maintain accurate production records, including quantities produced, materials used, and any production issues encountered.
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines.
Continuously monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of machine operations and suggest improvements.
Perform other related duties as assigned

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 23 years of experience operating edge bending machines and saws in a manufacturing setting.
Experience with different types of materials commonly used in edge bending and sawing operations (e.g., metal, wood, plastic) is a plus.
Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with operating edge bending machines and saws, including setting up and adjusting machine parameters.
Ability to perform quality checks and make adjustments to ensure products meet specifications.
Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Ability to lift up to 5070 lbs
Attention to detail

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical certification or vocational training in machine operation is preferred.
