Partnering with Business leads, HR COE leads and HR stakeholders to ensure technology is fit for purpose and provides a foundation to deliver on our enterprise strategy and for an outstanding employee experience.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the requirements, development (configuration), testing and implementation of system upgrades/changes/developments related to HCM functional areas of Workday
  • Day to day support and development including business processes design, testing and other troubleshooting support
  • Support with resolution of issues, manage incidents, track ticket status, partner with various teams to resolve issues using Service Now ticketing system
  • Be the Functional expert and 2nd line support for associated functional areas. Point of escalation for Workday.
  • Support and assist in configuration decisions based on best practices and current business requirements.
  • Maintain Workday technical specifications and design book
  • Assess biannual Workday releases including analysis of new functionality and crossfunctional analysis
  • Support Workday Centre of Excellence initiatives on HR and Enterprise projects
  • Performing regular audits to ensure data integrity
  • Supporting the team to develop standard operating procedures
  • Create user training documentation including developing and facilitating training and supporting materials and reports
  • Work closely with Process and Program Owners to ensure process related end user training documentation is accessible to HR and end users.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Strong planning and project management skills are essential, including objective focused approach, ability to prioritize, influence and manage own and others time well
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexibility to work in a global team across multiple time zones
  • Ability to lead conversations with external vendors, internal cross functional technology teams and the HR stakeholders on technology requirements
  • Minimum 4 years education in IT or Human Resources or related field
  • Knowledge of business operations and continuous process improvement initiatives, experience with report writing and database management an asset
  • Experience with configuration of HR systems an asset
