IT Project Manager

We are looking to hire a positive, proactive IT project manager to oversee project teams and to ensure IT projects are completed on time.

The IT project manager will ensure compliance with budget and other project requirements. You will document instructions for end-users and assist with testing the final product. You will communicate with stakeholders during all project phases and close it efficiently.


IT Project Manager Responsibilities:


  • Manage the clear definition of scope, deliverables, success criteria and work breakdown structures for projects with all levels of team members and stakeholders.
  • Proactively develop, direct and monitor the progress of a project by managing the plan and resources.
  • Prepare Project Plan and ALL project documentation and tracking matrices.
  • Perform analysis to ensure projects will be delivered within the time and budget.
  • Being an Expert in Agile Methodologies. i.e Scrum, Kanban, and XP.
  • Manage Projects in Agile with complete practice in Planning Retrospective sessions.
  • Manage changes to the scope associated with the project in a timely and suitable manner. Group changes into releases and manage expectations of stakeholders. Ensure the impacts of a change are understood.
  • Ensure the proper project team is built, staffing levels are maintained, the project's needs are matched, and members are set up for success and accountable for delivery.
  • Create and execute an effective communications plan.
  • Develop metrics to measure project performance and success during and after the rollout.
  • May lead and guide the work of personnel on the project.
  • Build strong business relationships with key stakeholders to ensure project success and management of expectations.
  • Use process mapping skills to document business processes or project processes.
  • Use analytical skills and knowledge of systems and processes to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources critically, reconcile conflicts, identify gaps, perform root cause analysis, suggest improvements, and arrive at valuedriven solutions.
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or relevant certification is needed.
  • Sound project management skills developed over 5+ years of experience managing complex projects.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).
  • Keen selfstarter interested in learning new technologies and enjoys leading change.
  • Experience working within hospitality or other relevant industries with a good understanding of the business lifecycle managed within the Applications supporting it
  • Experience running all Agile/SCRUMrelated activities (Daily standups, Retro, etc.)
  • Ability to support multiple initiatives concurrently and recognize the importance of prioritization.
  • Experience using Clickup, Jira or other project management tools.
  • Prior work experience as a Business, Systems or Applications Analyst
