The Wireless Age is currently seeking a Junior RF/Network Technician to join our Regina TWA Solutions Team.

Job Summary:


  • The Junior RF/Network Technician will work in conjunction with other team members located in Regina and Saskatoon.
  • The ability to setup and diagnose IT networks
  • Installation and maintenance of broadband and twoway radio systems
  • Ability to work in a shop environment and at various outside sites. Outside work is all seasons.
  • Ability to assist with twoway radio vehicle installations
  • Installation/maintenance of camera networks and PTP networks

Qualifications:


  • Successful Completion of a Computer Networking Course
  • CCNA 1 certificate or equivalent
  • 2 to 4 years experience in Computer Networking or twoway radio communications
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well in a team environment
  • Efficient, self motivated, excellent problemsolving skills
  • Valid Canadian drivers license
  • Ability to configure networks and switches
Programming

  • Proficient with hand tools and basic electronic equipment
  • Comfortable working at heights on lifts, rooftops, ladders
