Field Supervisor, Service Technicians - Edmonton, Canada - Linde Canada
Description
Key responsibilities:
- Coach and mentor technicians and drivers on daytoday job execution and safety as well as requested.
- Advising superintendent and other leadership on personnel challenges or issues.
- Plans daytoday coordination of regional job scheduling, manpower, thirdparty contractors, product deliveries etc.
- Reporting to M&O Logistics on projected N2 and other product usage to support M&O operations load planning.
- Identify to the Operations Superintendent innovation ideas and support the execution of operational excellence initiatives.
- Supporting weekly, and monthly cost forecasting, as required and completing and ensuring that daily job summaries are comprehensive and reflect the job scope as quoted since they are used for job billing.
- Ensure that daily job summaries are signed off by the customers Supporting billing on customer inquiries on job execution.
- Communicate any difficulties to management and sales before dispatching personnel and/or equipment (eg. No signed LEMS, improper documentation, lack of communication from customer or vendor, etc).
- Respond to customer and general public concerns, as required.
- Support the sales representatives on job scoping, as needed, for sales estimates.
- Participate in regular cost forecasting calls to ensure job execution is reflected in the sales forecasting.
- Onsite execution and support, as required
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (minimum)
- 10 minimum years experience within the related industry
- Mechanical knowledge (a must).
- Plant and facility experience (an asset)
- Project Management and ability to coordinate
- Proficient computer or digital skills to utilize multiple suite of Microsoft Products and Customer Relations Management Software (CRM) that LSCI uses called Sales Force.
