    Description:

    WHO YOU ARE:

    Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the Accounts Payable Clerk handles accounts payable responsibilities as well as some sales audit responsibilities. Their responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Getting invoices approved by appropriate manager
    • Entering invoices into Sage 300 on a daily basis
    • Answering supplier payment inquiries via email and phone
    • Requesting and reconciling monthly supplier statements
    • Maintaining vendor information (up to date)
    • Mailing out cheques
    • Maintaining account files
    • Perform sales audit bank reconciliations
    • Correspond with stores regarding the cash deposit shortages
    • Work with both internal and external teams to resolve client disputes and chargebacks
    • Understand and enforce company policies, procedures and internal controls surrounding sales
    • Ordering deposit slips and pin pads for stores
    • Additional Ad Hoc requests
    WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
    • Two (2) years of accounts payable experience (preferred)
    • Post-secondary education in accounting or another pertinent field of study
    • Strong data entry and Excel skills
    • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal and problem solving skills
    • Great organizational skills
    • Bilingual - both oral and written
    • Ability to function effectively both independently and as a member of a team
