Position:
Lead Hand - Putaway/Replenishment/Slotting - Night Shift

Location:
Vaughan

Reports to:
Warehouse Supervisor

Overview:

The Lead Hand oversees the day-to-day activities of Putaway/Replenishment/Slotting department. Monitor workflow, assign work, create individual development plans etc. and ensure work is completed accurately and in a timely manner. Putaway/Replenishment and slotting associates are responsible for the smooth flow of received goods and supplies.

Accurate physical movements of materials/product in order to maintain integrity of inventory control, and insures delivery of materials/product to the proper department/location.

Handle any assigned slotting, putting away and replenishment activities

NEXT Supply is the new generation of supplier in wholesale Plumbing and Hydronics -setting superior standards in service, product availability and delivery.

NEXT has strategically located local warehouses across and beyond the GTA, each with a full quantity of inventory and strong, strategic delivery capabilities.

Schedule:
Sunday to Thursday: 10:30pm - 6:30am

Duties and Responsibilities:

Drive, document and execute continuous improvements initiatives.
Ensure putaway is complete in expected timeframe.
Ensure replenishments are completed in expected timeframe.
Review material behaviours and slot the product most optimal location.
Communicates and coordinates with appropriate departments to ensure flow of material.
Delivers product to appropriate personnel ensures all pathways are kept clear.
Heavy Lifting will be required as necessary please use caution and ask for assistance.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees, supervisors and managers.
Maintains safe work environment and follows all health and safety procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Requirements/Qualifications:

Strong leadership skills cooperative and customer service focused.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Has experience in order picking.
Able to multitask and problem solve.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience operating a Forklift.
Experience on Outlook Mail, SAP software, is an asset.
Additional hours may be required on a daily basis to perform this job effective
