Established in 2007, QuartzCo is a leader in the Ontario stone installation and fabrication industry.

With a continued focus on service and customer relationships, QuartzCo is growing rapidly and looking for team members who will help to support and grow our brand in the Ontario market.

As a CNC Operator you are responsible for operating the CNC Router Machine to polish stone.

You will be working the Day shift which is Monday to Friday (5 days per week) from 6 am to 3pm (9 hour shift).

Responsibilities and Duties

Read, understand and execute production instructions
Operate the CNC Router machine
Follow and maintain production timelines
Pick up pieces of stone (manually and with overhead crane) to be polished, remove when complete and put on rolling cart
Perform general duties involving physical handling of products, materials and supplies and basic machine adjustments and maintenance
Maintain and keep work space clean and organized
Maintain company safety guidelines and practices

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED
Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility is preferred
Strong attention to detail
Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logístical problems that arise
Ability to push, pull and move equipment and stone in excess of 50 lbs
Positive and professional attitude
