Position Overview:

Under the direction of the Support Services Manager, and in accordance with the facility Mission, Vision and Values statements and the Resident Bill of Rights, provides Housekeeping services for River Park Gardens Personal Care Home.

Experience:

Previous work related experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

Verbal command of the English language and English reading skills required, written skills preferred.
Ability to relate well with coworkers, Residents and families.
Good organizational skills and ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
Demonstrates concern and interest in giving the quality of care in cleaning the Residents rooms to make them feel like it's their home.
Ability to attend work on a consistent basis.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform duties requiring frequent bending and lifting.

Please note that an employee is not permitted to hold two or more positions across the WRHA legal entity that combine to equal more than 1.0 EFT.

The WRHA legal entity includes Churchill Health Centre, Deer Lodge Centre, Grace Hospital, Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, Pan Am Clinic, River Park Gardens, Victoria General Hospital, WRHA corporate programs, and WRHA community health services.
