YOUR PROFILE


You are recognized for your attention to detail and your ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; there isn't much about complex accounting that you don't know.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION
Upon your arrival, you will support the Corporate Controls team and you will report to the Manager, Financial Reporting.

This is an opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team as you enrich your career and work on Enerkem's unique and disruptive technology.


Your role and responsibilities will be the following:

  • Prepare consolidated financial statements on monthly and quarterly basis including the relevant note disclosures
  • Support in establishing requirements for consolidation and communicate these initiatives to the rest of the finance team to facilitate the flow of information
  • Assist in preparation of monthly Management reports
  • Work with the finance team to identify and execute process improvements and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement
  • Assist in drafting accounting policies and position papers for complex reporting topics and other ad hoc transactions
  • Assist in the implementation of new financial systems and tools
  • You will participate in the implementation of new IFRS standards and liaise with the external auditors as required

Qualifications:


YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bilingual CPA with a minimum of 35 years of experience with proven expertise in public accounting and financial reporting and corporate controls
  • Exposure to auditrelated responsibilities is desirable but not mandatory
  • Knowledge and understanding of Consolidation, accounting policies, processes and procedures, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

  • Ability to solve complex problems constructively and effectively communicate results to stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze financial results considering external and internal drivers, historical and futureoriented information and build adequate documentation to support accounting assertions
