WHY TRIMAC?

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Area Manager, this position is responsible for evaluating and developing processes and procedures for wash, workshop and environmental protection activities.

This person will also be responsible for the local development of the commercial workshop and washing activities.

  • Good knowledge of the tank washing and maintenance industry.
  • Experience with bulk and/or hazardous materials is desirable.
  • Advanced communication and management skills.
  • Selfmotivation and ability to work with mínimal supervision.
  • Experience in a computerized environment.
  • Good sales and customer development skills.
  • Understanding of marketing services.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Ensure that cleaning technicians and mechanics have the appropriate instructions and procedures to perform their tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Address and respond promptly to all cleaning technicians' concerns regarding: safety,
  • Mechanics' and cleaning technicians' ability to perform their tasks effectively, efficiencyenhancing opportunities for the company and the customer, cleaning procedures and equipment requirements, and maintenance procedures and equipment requirements.
  • Evaluate daily capacities and throughputs of shop and wash facilities to determine areas for improving the efficiency of cleaning processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate and carry out the solicitation of potential new customers for commercial workshops and laundries.
  • Manage existing commercial customers to ensure that our laundries and workshops continue to meet requirements. Communicate any servicerelated problems to the Branch Manager, recommending improvements.
  • Monitor chemical stock levels. Measure consumption in relation to activity.
  • Manage effluent disposal and ensure compliance with all environmental guidelines and regulations at branch level.
  • Maintain equipment in accordance with company and federal agency guidelines.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory.
  • Develop new commercial maintenance and cleaning recipes.
  • Monitor workshop and laundry revenues against plan and targets.
  • Ensure that cleaning tickets are approved and entered into the cleaning system in a timely manner.
  • Where appropriate, ensure that commercial cleaning accounts are invoiced on a daily basis.
  • Monitor washrack productivity and key performance indicators and report to Area Manager.
  • Ensure that commercial customer accounts are kept up to date.
  • Ensure that all work orders are approved and entered.
  • Ensure that laundries and workshops meet all customer requirements and that any changes are communicated immediately.
  • Record service failure reports and bring them to the attention of the Area Manager or his representative.
  • Use the sales report form to report commercial sales activities to the Area Manager.
  • Ensure that all workshop and laundry equipment complies with regulations and company standards.
  • Ensure that processes allow cleaning technicians and mechanics to perform their tasks in complete safety.
  • Ensure that safety equipment is available and used by employees at all times.
  • Responsible for developing an environment that complies with the company's safety, health, environment and security policies.
  • Maintain process control and respond to necessary or required changes as they occur.
  • Maintain and control environmental regulations and report deviations to the Environmental Department and Area Manager.
  • Monitor the disposal of all waste generated by the plant.

TRAINING/EXPERIENCE

  • 5 to 7 years' experience and/or training in the relevant field.
  • High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
