About the Role

How you will contribute
The Equipment Specialist will administer an inventory of equipment for the different divisions and related teams.

Responsibilities include:

Handling and receiving equipment on a daily basis.
Checking equipment in and out as new hardware becomes available.
Maintaining and reconciling inventory of equipment in a database and in spreadsheets as needed.
Organizing equipment storeroom.
Preparing equipment for shipping as well as tracking all shipments until delivered.
Processing requests for equipment repair, replacement, and disposal.
Regular reporting to management on the status of equipment projects is also required.
Inputting invoices/PO's in syncreon SAP and generating required reports.
Conducting 5S audits of the facility.
Maintaining/updating Customerowned inventory plant wide (computers, Intermec Printers, Scanners etc.)
Salaried member/volunteer and leader of the Social and CSR Committee.
All other duties as assigned.

Your Key Qualifications

High School Diploma required. Associates/Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience as a repair/maintenance technician a plus.
Experience using Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel.
Forklift certification is an asset.
Ability to communicate and deal with a variety of people, perform repetitive duties and detailed work accurately, and work within a fast paced environment while exhibiting exceptional customer service/interpersonal skills.
Able to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends, is required due to frequently changing customer requirements.
