Description
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate construction projects from start to finish
- Oversee and manage a team of construction workers
- Read and interpret blueprints, ensuring that work is completed according to specifications
- Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring that deadlines are met
- Monitor and enforce safety regulations on the job site
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project plans
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction
- Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to project stakeholders
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation
- Experience with budgeting and cost control measures
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks
Your expertise in supervising, blueprint reading, budgeting, and quality control will ensure that projects are completed efficiently and according to specifications.
