Key Accountabilities
- Welcome, inform and serve guests promptly, professionally, and positively.
- Verify, confirm, and assume responsibility for inventory, assets and floats as issued.
- Reconcile bingo paper inventory, assemble, and issue floats, assign, and issue cards and help to complete any other duties in preparation for a session.
- Operate key equipment and computerized operating systems efficiently and effectively.
- Calculate and enter game payouts into operating systems with accuracy.
- Secure and control all areas of the bingo cage including but not limited to guest service stations, assets, and inventory.
- Process bingo jackpot payments and supporting documentation.
- Assist with guest inquiries, sales, card verification and inventory reconciliation in a pleasant and professional manner in compliance with cash handling procedures, internal controls, company policies and procedures, report any violations and escalate to the appropriate level as necessary.
- Check equipment, terminals, monitors, etc. prior to commencing a session to ensure adequate functionality.
- Be familiar with the schedule and staffing in place with an awareness of session format, related details, promotions, and specials offerings.
- Maintain an adequate cage supply of necessary inventory and products.
- Complete deposits, data entry, session paperwork and necessary reports
- Communicate effectively and professionally with each guest providing prompt, great service to ensure an enjoyable gaming experience.
- Maintain good rapport with colleagues ensuring a professional, productive, and supportive work environment.
- Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations. Performs other duties as assigned or directed.
Education and Qualifications
- High School Diploma; postsecondary education an asset
- Minimum 2 years cash handling experience in a guest service position
- Ability to successfully obtain a Criminal Record and Credit Check
- Ability to exceed internal and external guest expectations through timely, effective, and service oriented communication.
- Professional attitude and appearance, strong interpersonal skills and a team player
- Must possess excellent verbal, written and organizational skills.
- Reliable and dependable with demonstrated commitment to service excellence.
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends, and statutory holidays.
- SIR certification
Work Environment Considerations
- Regular casino environment, standing for long periods of time, some exposure to noise, nontraditional work hours.
