We're growing and looking for a
Web Design Specialist to join our Design team.

Reporting to the Director - Product, you'll be an important part of geoLOGIC's software development process, performing business analysis through functional and user interface requirements gathering, and designing and prototyping new features and functionality to our cloud-based products for our team of developers to build.

Strong communication skills help you collaborate with your colleagues, allowing you to share your innovative and detailed approach.


How will you spend your day?

• Transform customer and business requirements to functional and user interface requirements that ensures product changes meet the needs of our clients and organization
• Prototype solutions and perfect them through collaborating with other team members
• Collaborate closely with other departments, like Sales, Customer Solutions, Development, and Quality Assurance
• Triage submitted customer enhancement requests and defect reports and translate them to developer task instructions
• Conduct functional tests of prerelease software
• Troubleshoot customer issues and document software defects
• Participate in small project teams
• Assist the Design team as required.

Ready to Apply? Here's what we're looking for:

• Strong computer skills and excellent knowledge of MS Office programs and programs, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, prioritization and scheduling skills
• Selfstarter with ability to manage time effectively to plan and deliver high quality work to tight deadlines, with competing priorities
• High standard of professionalism, honesty and integrity
• Strong (English) written and oral communication skills
• Innovative, curious and creative approach
• Excellent collaborator and team player; the desire to contribute towards common goals
• Eagerness to learn new skills
• Experience with the overall software development process.
• Ability to meet deadlines, work at a fast pace and deliver high quality writing on a deadline

Other Assets:

• Knowledge of geoLOGIC and competitor products is a plus
• Experience in the Energy Industry is a plus
