About the role:
The Medical Writer is responsible for the creation and preparation of scientific documents supporting the presentation, publication and medical education needs of the Interventional Oncology and Embolization (IO&E) group.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for the preparation of manuscripts, scientific abstracts, conference presentations, posters based on BSC clinical trials, registries, guideline documents or other scientific data.
- Maintains and updates with new content the library of speaker decks and training material, creating new content as needed for BSC symposia, speaker programs and internal medical education. Creates other Medical Education material e.g., physician training modules, CEU slide decks, learning modules etc. as needed.
- Leads global strategic publication plan team to ensure the successful implementation of publication and presentation plans. Interacts extensively with internal medical stakeholders to ensure timely execution of plan.
- Develops relationships/partnerships with KOL collaborators on abovementioned deliverables. Interacts externally with journals, conference organizers as needed.
- Reviews monthly new publications for each portfolio and provides synopsis of key relevant take away points to internal stakeholders.
- Reviews documents related to IO&E clinical trials e.g., protocols, to ensure appropriate evaluation and presentation of data, methodology, interpretation, and documentation.
- Maintains up to date congress schedule and abstract deadlines and informs teams of upcoming deadlines.
- Remains current with ongoing studies and coming abstracts at congresses or publications
