About the opportunity
As an integral part of the "we can do that" operation, and as the leader of the Service Department, this position is responsible to drive and achieve labour sales, profits and efficiency by maximizing production, controlling costs, marketing, building a clientele and establishing solid employee relationships


Specifically:
- monitor and maintain all manufacturer warranty programs for high profit and claim accuracy
- monitor the flow of work in the Service Department and intervene as required to ensure work is completed properly
- maintain high profitability in all areas and keep departmental expenses under strict control
- maintain high customer satisfaction rating at all times
- monitor and maintain all A/P and A/R relating to the Service Department
- forecast, Target and Track monthly sales, profits and expense objectives
- implement systems, procedures and controls
- plan analyze and manage department finances through determining shop capacity and services
- recruit/select personnel based on operational needs and efficiencies
- train, motivate and supervise accounting Team Members
- track and post daily Service Advisor performance
- track and post daily Service Technician performance


About you.
-
five (5) years proven experience as a Service and/or Parts Manager; luxury dealership experience preferred:

  • solid understanding of and proven experience with operational planning and management
- proficiency working with ERP systems (ie. CDK), and Microsoft Office software (ie. Excel, Word, Outlook)
- strong ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
- proven ability to influence change and effectively lead projects
- experience leading and supervising Team Members
- ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
- ability to maintain internal controls
- strong attention to detail, organized and strategic
- ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- ability to work independently and with mínimal supervision
- self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
