Sunrise Bakery is a large commercial bakery located on the west end of Edmonton.

The company tradition began in 1963 and has expanded since to facilitate many customers across Canada and the United States.

The small bakery ambience amongst 80+ persons is maintained by daily contact on a first name basis between staff and management.

Staff retention levels remains unsurpassed, with many clocking in 10 years and 20 years of service.

Sunrise Bakery is currently seeking a reliable, hard-working Production Line Worker to add to our team. This individual must possess a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

Job Duties:

Spraying pans prior to baking products.
Assembling baked products into packaging trays.
Packaging of baked products by sealing and boxing.
Visually inspect product while it's moving through assembly line for quality.
Cleaning of equipment and scales after use.
Maintaining a clean work area and production floor

This position is vital to our operations and provides long-term employment and growth opportunity.

This a physical and laborintensive position.
Must be willing and able to lift up to 25lbs on a regular basis.
Position requires standing for long periods and repetitive work.
Experience in food manufacturing will be considered an asset.
Adherence to quality and food safety procedures is a must.
Able to read and speak fluent English.

We are currently looking for morning and afternoon shifts. Start times fluctuate dependent on production needs. This is a Monday to Thursday shift; 10 hour days.

There is no bus service available for afternoon shift employees. Employees must have a reliable means of transportation to and from work.
