The need for Big Brothers Volunteer Mentors has never been bigger - some of our Littles have been waiting more than 2 years for their Big Brother
Our
Big Brothers Community Program pairs you with a Little Brother based on personality and personal interests to build a supportive one-to
- one relationship based on trust, connection, and fun You don't need any previous experience with kids to get involved

Our matches spend two or more hours once per week doing free or low
- cost activities they enjoy most. Our matches are paired for a minimum of one year.


Our Big Brothers are

  • Male, trans, and gender diverse individuals who are 18+.
  • Reliable, consistent, able to express care and expand possibilities.
  • Those who have lived in Greater Vancouver for a minimum of 6 months.

Our Little Brothers are

  • Boys, trans, and genderdiverse children and youth ages 7 to 1
  • Those who would benefit from having a positive role model in their life.

Benefits
Have fun, de-stress, and feel like a kid again We organize fun activities year-round like water-skiing, sailing, and wall-climbing. Whenever possible, our organization provides activity ideas and free tickets and admission vouchers to Big and Little Brothers.

As a volunteer, you can make a positive impact on the community, gain a sense of personal reward and fulfillment by contributing to a child's self-esteem, develop a more positive attitude, which leads to greater productivity at work and makes a new friend.
