Qualifications and assets:

Applicants should hold a Master's or PhD in Early Childhood Education, Child Studies, Educational or Developmental Psychology, or a related field, as well as relevant teaching experience at the university level.

Expertise is required in the following areas:

prior experience in early childhood settings as an educator; experience in direct supervision of students in field-placements/internships in early childhood settings; in-depth knowledge of theories and nature of play in early childhood and childhood settings and/or in-depth knowledge of social policy pertaining to young children's rights, child care, education, health and social welfare.
