Your role on our team:

The Tenancy Analyst will provide lease administration support to the Residential group ensuring that leases and other centralized functions are managed consistently, accurately, effectively, and in compliance with relevant legislation.

In addition, this role will assist with transition and operational activities relating to acquisitions and dispositions and will ensure data integrity and compliance with established data standards in Yardi used by Minto Properties.


In this role, you will:


  • Prepares and sends monthly rent increase notices;
  • Prepares and sends monthly eviction notices;
  • Receives AGI Orders and Property Tax rent reduction Orders from the LTB, completes account adjustments, and sends applicable notifications to residents;
  • Completes monthly Last Month's Rent Interest postings and prepares and sends notifications to residents;
  • Assists as required with the review, systementry, and ongoing maintenance of all companyuse, nonresident, rent supplement, and housing benefit leases for the Residential group, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with lease documentation;
  • Completes requests to post charge batches and revised billing in Yardi;
  • Performs regular audits of data (including Tenant Records) to ensure data integrity;
  • Provides support to the Residential Group relating to procedures, guidelines, and system inquiries.
  • Perform all facets of the job in accordance with the legislation applicable to the jurisdiction, including: Residential Tenancy Act, Health and Safety standards, WHMIS, AODA, PIPEDA and Human Rights;
  • Other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job, as requested by management.

We would like you to have:

Education:
Post-Secondary Education, either a College Diploma or a University Degree, in a related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.


Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a relevant field


Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:


  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Outlook;
  • Experience in Yardi or other ERP is an asset
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and flexible nature and has a customerservice focus.
  • Effective communication (listening, verbal and written) and problemsolving skills.
  • Effectively manages time, multitasks, and balances priorities.
  • Promotes an environment of open communication, cooperation, collaboration, and teamwork.
  • Seeks to understand and appreciate the internal and external customer's perspective.
  • Highly organized with an attention to detail
  • Works well independently and as part of a team
