Construction site evaluations (digital and/or in person) for erosion and sediment control.
Benchmarking and external program review.
Developing a performance risk framework for our approvals and inspection programs.
Building a performance dashboard.

QualificationsEnrolled in a diploma or degree in Environmental Field
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerBI, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
A valid Class 5 Driver's License (or provincial equivalent) with no more than 6 demerits.
Preference will be given to students in the 2nd academic year of study.
Success in this position requires strong research and problem-solving skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, personal accountability, critical thinking and an ability to work well both independently and in a team.
-Pre-Employment RequirementsMust be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2023.
Must obtain a City of Calgary operator's permit.
If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).
-Pre-employment Drug Test: An offer of employment for this position will be conditional on an applicant passing a pre-employment drug test. This test assesses for use of drugs including cannabis. Failure to pass a pre-employment drug test may prevent an applicant from being hired into any safety sensitive position for a period of up to twelve months.
