Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of the Scotia Wealth Management Partnerships team in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives.
The success of all Partnerships team-led initiatives is integral to ensuring the consistent delivery of an
excellent client and partner experience and achievement of Canadian Wealth Management's objectives.
As a member of the National Scotia Wealth Management Partnerships team, contributes to building a strong platform that provides a supportive work environment for a dedicated, high performing sales force.
Provide support on prioritized initiatives that will result in achieving near-term business targets and longer-term business growth.
The Program Manager, Partnerships works with the National Partnerships team to support the delivery of initiatives and business development initiatives.
This includes the development of new training materials, improvement of business processes & ongoing communications Wealth Management Consultants, Regional Directors and other Scotia Wealth Management colleagues.
Developing an in-depth knowledge of all Wealth systems to support Wealth Management Consultants in day-to-day operations and working with all members to enhance current business processes.
Number of Regional Teams serviced: 4 Regional Directors and 50 Wealth Management ConsultantsNumber of Branches Serviced: 900+ retail branches, partners in Canadian Business Banking and Global Wealth Management business lines.
Accountabilities:
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Support the National Partnerships team on campaign initiatives, executive updates, education to partners, conferences and general support by:
- Developing executive presentations, sales support tools and training materials
- Managing the design and maintain the inventory of materials and content on intralink sites and within the WMC portal to optimize efficiency and ease of retrieval
- Work with advisory businesses, ID&P teams to create and post content and success stories on Yammer.
- Support the management of online leads (in English and French) generated through Scotia Wealth Management Connect with Us portal
- Referral tracking, leads management and reporting of Online leads, including triaging the distribution of leads to Wealth Management Consultants, Scotia Wealth Management Advisory and/or redirecting to Bank partners
- Liaising with Marketing on trending issues, campaigns and reporting results
- Work with members of the National Partnerships team to foster and sustain ongoing relationships through engagement with, execution of, continuous improvement and new initiatives by working collaboratively with Bank Partners such as Retail, Small Business, Canadian Business Banking, Professional Banking, Tangerine; as well as colleagues across Global Wealth Management. This includes maintaining good working relationships with colleagues in HR, Marketing, Communications, business advisory and bank partners.
- Accountability for process design and delivery of communications, executive memos, and skills builds for Bank Partner & National Partnerships initiatives and campaigns. This includes understanding the SWM business to enable the development of training materials, to be shared broadly across Partnerships & Advisory
- Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in daytoday activities and decisions.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of daytoday business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Education/Experience
- Bilingualism (English and French)
- University degree in marketing, communications or economics
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in project management and/or communications & training preferably in the banking industry
- Welldeveloped knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint is required
- Knowledge of Wealth Management industry and a strong network within it
- Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
- Strong project management / product management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communica
