We are looking for
Sanitation & Production
Cleaner personnel for our client located in
Mississauga.

This position is responsible for completing proper cleanup and sanitation tasks of vat-type equipment used to process milk and Yoghurt filling machine and is responsible for the general handling of dairy products.


Responsibilities:


  • Disassembly and reassembly of production pipes, pumps, and valves pipes and perform necessary cleaning, sanitizing, and reassembling of these pieces of equipment.
  • Scrub processing tanks and vats and assist with cleaning other areas of the facility.
  • Clean dust, soil, oil, and grease from mixing equipment, machinery, overhead pipes, and conveyors.
  • Complete basic preventive maintenance of gaskets, seals," O' rings plates etc. on all product contact surfaces as needed of fluid milk and milk byproducts.
  • Perform basic housekeeping to include cleaning floors, walls, ceiling, air vents, lights, etc., of the plant, equipment, and exterior of all equipment.
  • Ensure machinery and equipment are clean, sanitized and in good working condition before and after use.
  • Move raw materials, finished products and packaging materials to the Production area.
  • Operate packaging machinery.
  • Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers.
  • Load packaging materials into machines.
  • Move filled containers from conveyors onto skids.
  • Manually pack dairy products into boxes or other containers.
  • Practice proper hand washing techniques.
  • Advise Production management of any deviation from standard practices.
  • Provide input to develop new processes as part of continuous improvement.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast paced, frequent deadline environment
  • Overtime may be required

Pay Rate:
$18 to $20


Shift time: 1:00pm hours) (Mon - Fri)


Salary:
$18.00-$22.00 per hour
