The opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and results focused Global Head of Executive Recruiting to join our successful team at Manulife/John Hancock.
In this role, you will lead the executive recruiting function across the organization, driving our efforts to identify and attract world-class talent.
You will play a meaningful role in assessing and bringing talent into the officer and senior officer ranks, advising executives throughout the recruitment, offer and onboarding process, and ultimately adding significant value to the organization globally.
Responsibilities:
- Implement a global executive recruiting strategy that aligns with the company's overall strategic objectives.
- Lead a team of executive recruiters, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure success.
- Build positive relationships with senior leaders to understand their talent needs and develop effective recruiting solutions.
- Negotiate sophisticated compensation packages and close offers with executive talent.
- Continuously improve the executive recruiting function by implementing processes, using technology and analytics, and staying up to date on industry trends.
- Collaborate with internal colleagues, including HR Partners, Compensation, Diversity & Inclusion, and Legal team members to maintain compliance and support company initiatives.
- Represent the company at industry events and build a strong employer brand in the executive talent market.

What we are looking for
- 10+ years of recruiting experience with expertise in identifying and attracting top executive talent.
- Demonstrated success in team management and people leadership.
- Strong business sense with the ability to build effective partnerships with senior leaders across a heavily matrixed organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade leaders at all levels.
- A strategic problem solver with a datadriven approach to recruiting, using analytics to measure and improve performance.
- Ability to work independently and balance multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
- Familiarity with HR technology, applicant tracking systems, and other recruitment tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- International/global recruiting experience
- Previous executive search firm experience.

Salary & Benefits
The annual base salary for this role in the primary location of Toronto, Ontario is expected to be between $120,400.00 CAD - $223,700.00 CAD.
