The responsibilities include:
- Develop a highquality new academic program:
- Ensure learning outcomes and the programs of studies course sequences meet institutional and Ministry priorities, including quality standards and applicable college policies, procedures and practices.
- Participate in meetings with various stakeholders to present and address inquiries regarding the proposed program.
- Contribute to the development of a preprogram advisory committee utilizing one's own and the college's professional network.
- Facilitate and report on external assessments with industry, student and academic focus groups/surveys.
The incumbent will work with others to establish rapport, credibility and build effective relationships to accomplish common team goals and objectives.
They will also work with confidence and with a strategic focus and manage competing priorities to ensure that agreed-upon goals and project-related work is delivered on time and achieves desired goals.
To do this they will manage projects and delegate tasks accordingly to ensure deadlines are met in a timely manner as well as set priorities, stay focused and balance changing or competing priorities.
