As a Customer Service Representative at our company, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and coordinating the delivery of packages.

You will serve as a liaison between the company and its clients, ensuring a positive customer experience.

Job Summary_**:

We are looking for a dynamic individual to fill the role of Customer Care Representative at our Mississauga terminal.

The Customer Care Representative's responsibilities will include assisting customers with their inquiries, monitoring and locating shipments, ensuring the accuracy of reports, and handling various administrative duties.

At Cardinal, we specialize in making pre-8-am deliveries.

Customers depend on us so when they come to work, they have that part or componentso that they can get their jobs done.

This is a full-time, permanent position, based out of our head office in Mississauga, Ontario (6600 Goreway Drive). This is a 100% in-office position.

Responsibilities_**:


  • Delivering multiple forms of support, which encompass responding to customer inquiries, upkeeping customer accounts, and conducting data processing activities.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Research and follow up on customer concerns and respond to all enquiries.
  • Follow up on customer orders to ensure on time service and expected delivery dates are met.
  • Work closely with internal team for timely movement of freight.
  • Managing Over, Short and Damaged (OS&D) to ensure freight is not held.
  • Tracing and providing PODs to customers.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 2 years minimum Customer Service experience is
    required
:


  • Previous Business to business Customer Service experience is considered an
    asset
:


  • Prior experience in Transportation/Logistics is considered an
    asset.

Competencies_**:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree may be preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in the courier or logistics industry.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using customer service software, databases, and tracking systems.
  • Problemsolving abilities and the capability to handle challenging customer situations.
  • Knowledge of courier services, shipping regulations, and geographic locations.
