The Structured Lending Products Manager will have primary responsibility for managing and heading up the following Citi Global Wealth (CGW) Wholesale Lending products:

Unsecured Lending
Other Secured Lending (private equity, hedge funds, other assets, etc.)
Canadian Residential Real Estate
Bahamas Residential Real Estate

The role requires the individual to have deep product knowledge, industry/competitive knowledge and sound credit judgment.

The Product Head will actively manage these products on an ongoing basis, leading a team to manage quarterly metrics, ensuring deals conform with the parameters of the product programs, manage exception limits, portfolio limits, leading annual portfolio reviews and heading product program renewal and updates.

The Product Head is also responsible for driving business for each individual product line, meeting annual product sales goals and supporting the Structured Lending Transactors as the Product SME.

This role will report into NAM Wholesale Lending Head.

Responsibilities:

The role requires an experienced Lending or Risk professional with strong Private Banking or Commercial Lending background.
Ability to work independently and lead a team to conduct market research and update product programs in light of market conditions or competitive changes.
Work closely with Structured Lending Transactors to ensure credits are approved inline with product program guidelines including Bank Credit Policy and Program Risk Acceptances Criteria (RAC) and to actively manage exception and product limits.
Partnering with other product managers to align various Wholesale Lending product programs and to assist with developing new product programs.
This is a demanding role for which a strong mix of credit and process skills is crucial. It requires an ability to influence stakeholders, including clients, senior Business and Risk managers, auditors and other areas of the Bank, to deliver against budget and to ensure processes meet the Bank's highest standards.
Strong data management skills with longterm goal of digitizing product programs and championing a data driven culture.
Develop and track KPIs for each specific product.
Partner with Lending Advisors, Structured Lending Transactors, Risk, Legal and Compliance to actively manage the product programs to ensure competitiveness in changing markets and external competition.

Qualifications:

10+ years of Private Banking or Commercial Product, Risk or Lending experience.
Strong knowledge of CGW's Policies and Procedures
Product management skills; digital product skills a plus
Strong analytical skills
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask, work under pressure to tight deadlines
Good negotiation skills
Strong initiative and interactive approach to problem solving
Displays flexibility and independence in a demanding environment
Team player and proven leader
Solid data management skills

Education:

Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
