This is a full-time position reporting to the Manager, Administration & Customer Relations and is scheduled Monday - Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
Responsibilities:
- Provide frontdesk coverage by managing a busy, multiline phone system, greeting customers as they enter the office, managing incoming/outgoing mail and shipments, and maintaining an organized, clean office environment
- In support of the leadership team, plan, organize and schedule meetings in the office, offsite and or virtually
- Coordinate registration of training sessions as required
- Maintain filing system, contact database and employee list
- Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis and provide basic support to team members as required when issues arise
- Keep detailed and accurate records of customer requests, field crews, contractors and other key partners
- Take inventory of office supplies and restock/reorder as needed
- Monitor online tracking of 1st Electric's specialty services such as solar and generators
- Create, submit, track and finalize all warranty claims for generators and solar systems
- Provide support to estimators with the completion and submission of required documentation for solar projects
- Lend administrative support to accounting department
- Provide backup support to the scheduler during periods of vacation or other absences
- Work collaboratively with management, office colleagues and field crews
- Other duties as assigned

Required qualifications and experience:
- College diploma in office/business administration
- 7+ years of proven administrative experience which includes supporting a management team
- Experience developing internal processes and filing systems
