Description

As the Team Lead, Leasing Administration you will be responsible for ensuring that the leasing processes and standards are properly maintained by members in their assigned region and that the corporate leasing training plan is deployed within the region through the onboarding of new resident administrators as planned and required.


Responsibilities will include, at a minimum:

  • Overseeing all leasing activities and ensuring consistency of leasing process across all regions, with a high level of resident contact through continuous communication;
  • Providing leadership, coaching and support to team members to align priorities, skills development, and adoption of current and new processes;
  • Maintaining partnership with Property Managers to receive feedback and support them as required, and complete Annual Reviews in collaboration;
  • Working closely with the regional management team and other leasing manager/Team Lead to review and overcome any leasing concerns or changes required;
  • Completing audits and reporting on activities, identifying areas of improvement, and capturing lessons learned to provide feedback into the coaching and training process (including Completing final review of lease files for Auditors, Quarterly review of auditing results, Bi-Annual review of lease processes);
  • Traveling to communities on a regular basis to maintain an appreciation of the communities' requirements and as required;
  • Working closely with AR management to ensure any areas that require extra attention get priority and working closely with IT for further automation of lease procedures;
  • Monthly reviewing of all Skip and Evict Results to identify areas for improvement;
  • Reviewing Daily Application Update;
  • Submission of new properties to Onsite and Rent Moola;
  • Responsible for Role out and set up of new properties, and for closing of any sold properties;
  • Managing the incoming office mail and couriers;
  • Supporting the operations team with tracking Fire Safety and Elevator Certificates;
  • Coordinating and maintaining the On Call and spreadsheet for accuracy of information;
  • Other related activities to meet business objectives and management needs.

Must Haves:


  • Property Management and CRM experience
  • Tenancy Law knowledge is a preference
  • Basic understanding of Finance and Health & Safety
  • Proficiency with Yardi (or similar property management software)
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Strong organizational and time management skills including multitasking
  • Ability to build rapport and establish relationships
  • Ability to work independently and in a group setting
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful or difficult situations
  • Ability to coach and train others
  • Ability to build management reports and share analysis of results and activities
  • Ability and willingness to work onsite / from office 5 days a week (Monday-Friday). No remote or hybrid option
  • Willingness to work overtime, as and when required
