We are currently looking for
Heavy Equipment Operators to join our growing team

Reporting directly to the Site Supervisors, Heavy Equipment Operators will be responsible for performing construction tasks using heavy construction equipment.

The Forest Group uses a variety of heavy machinery to complete a wide range of construction projects.

Applicants with experience in the use of the following machinery will be considered:

Asphalt Spreader
Asphalt Grinder
Asphalt Roller
Grader
Dozer
Excavator
Backhoe
Loader
Skid Steer

Additional responsibilities may include:_

Understanding and following directions from the site supervision/project management staff.
Properly operating and maintaining vehicles/machines according to manufacturers specifications, including completing detailed daily inspections.
Completing safety forms and adhering to all applicable safety laws and regulations.
Ensuring the crew provides a highquality product and finishes the job on time and according to job specifications.
Minimum 2 years experience operating heavy construction machinery
Experience in the construction industry with a willingness to learn
Experience in asphalt paving and/or sewer & watermain projects is considered an asset
Ability to multi task and work in a fastpaced environment
A safety conscious demeanor and willingness to adhere to company safety policies, practices and procedures.
A positive attitude and willingness to work as a part of a team
Valid driver's license
