Details:
Full time, Evenings, 37.50 hours per week, 2:00PM to 10:00PM


Schedule:
Friday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday


Pay Scale:
$ $23.10 per hour


Location:
Kiwanis Place Lodge, Street, Edmonton, AB, T5K 2A6


Typical Duties:

This position is primarily responsible for cleaning common areas, dining room and kitchen, disinfecting, floor care, laundry, and restocking supply areas and ordering/receiving chemicals and linens as needed and dealing with resident issues and emergencies as required.

In addition, this position will also be responsible for building/security checks, delivering notices, setting up for special events, working with contractors on resident floors as required, and other site-specific duties and projects as assigned.

On an as needed basis, this position will also attend to unscheduled cleaning needs in residents' units and will cover the front desk when required.


Experience/Education Preferences:


  • Strong English communication skills are required, both written and verbal
  • Experience performing commercial housekeeping is an asset

Other Requirements:


  • Strong customer service skills including the ability to interact with everyone in a respectful manner
  • Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive people focus
  • Ability to demonstrate responsible judgement in problem solving

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a criminal records check and be fully vaccinated against Covid-19

Pay:
$19.05-$23.10 per hour

Expected hours: 37.50 per week
