Description

We are looking for a full time Industrial Equipment Cleaner at our glass manufacturing facility located in Langley (Gloucester Industrial area).

Industrial Equipment Cleaner is responsible for keeping our plant and equipment in a clean and orderly condition by ensuring that the machinery and working areas are clean and safe as established within the required standards.

Shift: 6am to 2:30pm - Monday to Friday

Rate of pay:
$18 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain and clean assigned areas/equipment within the plant
Keep the facility floors clean of debris and dirt using brooms, mops (and possibly the rideon Zamboni/scrubber)
Pick up debris outside around the facility as required
Other miscellaneous cleaning duties within the facility as required

Skills/Qualifications:

Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products and equipment
Ability to read and understand labels and instructions
Ability to take direction and work with mínimal supervision
Selfmotivated and must be able to work efficiently, effectively, and independently and be a team player
Must work with an attention to detail and take pride in a job well done
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
Ability to operate rideon Zamboni for cleaning floors is an asset
Physically fit; able to do repetitive tasks, standing, bending, crouching, kneeling, scrubbing for long hours
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and MSDS
