Experienced Hydrovac Swamper - Langley, Canada - Horizon Contracting Group
Description
Horizon Contracting Group is looking to add a full time Swamper/Hydrovac Labourer to our Lower Mainland Earthworks Division Working cooperatively and safely under the guidance of one of our qualified operators, this is a great position if you are wanting to learn from experienced Hydro Vac Operators
There is a lot of opportunity for growth and advancement both within our growing Earthworks team or in one of the other many divisions Horizon has.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Driver's license is a must.
- High School Diploma
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public.
- Strong problemsolving skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Comfortable working in a team environment
- A great attitude
- Experience working outdoors in all weather.
Physical Requirements:
- great eyesight
- the ability to verbally communicate effectively with manager, co workers and the public.
- the physical ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours a day while lifting up to 80 lbs.
- Ability to work any shift required
- Days, nights, weekends, on call
All Applicants Must Have:
- Steel-Toed Boots
- Reliable Transportation and drivers license are required.
Compensation:
- Wages start at $23 an hour.
