What we are Seeking:


Reporting to the Construction Manager, the
Construction Administrator will executive full-cycle project administration of construction projects including vendor, subcontractor & field team relations, and tracking and controlling documentation for projects.

This role is an integral component of Salvi Group's delivery of quality unique homes.


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure suppliers and subcontractors understand key processes and expectations, ensuring all documentation is collected prior to site work.
  • Liaise with the Senior Estimator to ensure accurate vendor records, and construction sales options within the ProContractor system.
  • Issue purchase orders to suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Prepare job binder for site supervisor including plans, specifications, engineering, customer selections, and change orders.
  • Enter, track, and communicate the construction schedule/budget, reporting updates to the Construction Manager.
  • Take meeting minutes, coordinate takeaway tasks, distribute, and followup in a timely manner.
  • Investigate invoice discrepancies issuing change orders and VPOs as required.

Assets:


  • Completion of a Construction, Building Technology Diploma, or equivalent.
  • T. certification.
  • A solid understanding of all construction trades and construction techniques.
  • Knowledge of OH&S regulations and related building codes.
  • First Aid skills and/or certificates.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in the construction industry.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, field drawings, and plans.
  • Understanding the fundamentals of contracts and experience in managing contractors under the terms of a contract.
  • Resultsoriented individual with the ability to handle multiple priorities and timelines within a fastpaced environment.
  • Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution methods.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective team player with the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise necessary costcontrol measures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Software.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities.
  • Willingness to visit job sites as needed.

Working Conditions

  • Travel to construction sites and offsite locations.
  • Overtime as required.
  • Hazards associated with the trade.
