Our
Crater positions have a
wage range of $19 $22 per hour based on years of experience and a skills assessment during the interview stage. Increases are then reviewed throughout employment.

Our
AdvanTec Manufacturing Canada facility, in Chilliwack BC, is looking for an energetic
Crater 1 to join our Shipping Department.

The
Crater 1 builds crates, boxes and/or containers, applies wrapping, labels and identification as required while adhering to safety procedures in getting the product shipped or delivered safely and fully intact to the customer.

Essential functions for this role are:

Measuring product to determine the crate size (width, height, and length) and do the add-ons where needed depending on the product mix,
Labelling the crate with the correct window or door number,
Filling out and handing in the crate sheet to production administration and labelling the crate with all the correct shipping labels and shipping information
Ordering supplies in a timely manner,
Loading, and offloading trucks,
Helping customers load their product,
Keeping the work areas clean and tidy,
Signing and filling in the receiving log sheet for deliveries if no receiver is available.

If you have the following experience, qualifications, and skills, we want to hear from you

High School education or GED equivalent
02 years' experience as a crater an asset
Able to accurately use a tape measure
Comfortable using a staple gun
Able and comfortable with using a table saw and a chop saw
Able to safely lift up to 50Lbs
Good communication skills, customer interactions
Your integrity is admired by those around you,
You have positive attitude and a friendly personality,
You are driven and enjoy some autonomy in a position,
You are interested in this role but also aspire to grow.
