This role provides support for our business partners by answering inquiries in a timely manner as well as the timely and accurate processing of incoming AP invoices.
This incumbent will liaise with the various business units to educate them on the requirements and processes of Accounts Payable for better solutions & resolution should any issues arise.
The Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for providing a high level of service; the key accountabilities require strong commitment to quality and service that is highly valued by our clients.
What will you do?
- Process incoming invoices using both Oracle and Ariba systems in a timely fashion
- Process the invoice payments in accordance with the department's payment schedule
- Support both internal and external audit requests
- Assist with the AP monthend close duties
- Respond quickly to client inquiries or concerns
- Identify and suggest opportunities for process improvements
What do you need to succeed?
- Bilingualism (French, English) is required in Quebec
- Stellar customer service skills that put the client first
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Outstanding communication skills written and verbal
- Thrive in a fast paced, highvolume production environment
- Ability to take initiative and demonstrate sound judgement
- Show resilience when taking on new responsibilities or handling difficult situations
- Teamwork and collaboration
Assets:
- Knowledge of accounting concepts
- Accounts Payable experience
- Detail oriented
- Knowledge of SAP (Ariba, S4 Hana, GUI, FICO), Oracle, Excel, Word
- French speaking and writing
