Join CHATS as the

Hoarding Community Support Worker

Full-time position 28 hours weekly

Hybrid work environment

3-year contract

Working in a community health setting as part of a team focusing on increasing education around hoarding to organizations and the public and expanding support services to individuals living with hoarding behaviors.

In this role you will:

Network with existing Tenancy Risk Program Services' community partners
Assist with developing new service partnerships
Work with clients one on one, and in support groups. Services are provided both virtually and in person.

CHATS will provide:
Personal protective equipment. Training and support. Paid mileage

Required Skills:

Social Services Worker Diploma.
Experience working with clients living with mental health conditions.
Knowledge of hoarding disorder and harm reduction approach
Experience facilitating groups and assisting with development and recruitment an asset
Experience with delivering presentations
Knowledge of local community resources
Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written).
Excellent communication, interpersonal and problemsolving skills.
Ability to work independently, as well as cooperatively with a team.
Experience in community setting an asset.
First Aid certification required.
Vehicle and valid Ontario driver's license required.
