Who are we looking for, you ask?
We are looking for a kickass Marketing Manager (Generalist) who gets it.

Our brand is service, and marketing makes sure the world knows it. This role is for you if you know how to make strategic, data-driven creative decisions.

Every day, you will help us tell the world that Idealogical is the place to be for prospective clients, existing clients, prospective employees, and vendors.

You will plan, execute, and report on our marketing initiatives, plan our campaigns, write content, run events and more.


WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING
In this role, you will report to our fantastic VP of Business Development, work closely with the marketing coordinator and be responsible for the following:

  • Responsible for ROI-focused marketing initiatives.
  • Advise the leadership team strategically and tactically on positioning Idealogical from an omnichannel standpoint, including client messaging, creative collaterals, lead generation, SEO and social media strategy, to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead crossfunctional priorities and resource allocation relative to each program, project and/or initiative.
  • Build, maintain and report on annual marketing calendars within a continuous planning cycle.
  • Manage vendor MDFs and control marketing budget.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications

  • A marketing/ public relations postgraduate certification/degree or 24 years of equivalent experience.
  • Ability to plan, execute and report compelling marketing strategies that help Idealogical differentiate from our competitors.
  • Exceptional ability to develop original and highquality print and digital content with strong CP style efficacy.
  • Have exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Executive reporting and presentation Skills.
  • Highest level of attention to detail.
  • Legally able to work in Canada.

Nice To Have Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B marketing.
  • A desire to mentor, guide and motivate other team members to help them succeed.

Key To Succeed in This Role

  • Agility in accommodating competing priorities.
  • Unique ability to help the leadership team see the value in marketing efforts.
  • Experience working with CRM (HubSpot) and CMS (Umbraco and WordPress).
  • Superior problemsolving skills.
