This position at Air Liquide requires to perform both preventive and corrective maintenance on several units to ensure reliable nitrogen supply to our customers, all while promoting Air Liquide quality and safety objectives.
Experience with cryogenics and other gases is a great asset.
JOB DESCRIPTION
:

Exciting travel is part of the role of the customer sites position. Will work most of the time in different sites (a company vehicle will be provided).

The most important installations are around
Kingston, Brockville, Napanee, Maitland, Ont.
:

You are autonomous and will get the necessary training.
:

The installations are often outside. Working partially outside is required all year
:
-
You might have occasional emergency calls 1 or 2 per week on an average.
You will be compensated for the emergency on calls.

85% of your time will be to
:
Complete preventive & corrective maintenance on the installations.
This includes maintenance on rotating equipment, replacing filters, calibrating instrumentation, replacing relays, fuses,...
Troubleshooting issues by reading P&ID and electrical Cryogenic vessels - maintenance Several installations in the South Eastern Ontario region.
You will be working on tanks for Nitrogen, Oxygen, Argon, CO2 and Hydrogen.
New Installations / repairs Brazing on pressure piping for new installations or repair
Quality/Safety:
Actively promotes ALC's safety and quality objectives. Maintains a clean work area as well as any other area, which may be assigned.
Maintains an accurate and organized inventory of parts in the shop and
service car.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
:
Licensed HVAC or electrician or instrumentation or pipefitter with 1-3 years experience (or equivalent by 3-4 of experience without being licensed) A Valid Driver's License and Driver's Abstract must be provided Experience with cryogenics is an important asset. Experience with brazing is an asset.
Language:
English Successful applicants will undergo Criminal, Medical and Employment checks.**
