    Now, if you were to come on board as one of our People (HR) Advisors , we'd ask you to do the following for us:

    Interpreting and explaining company policies, procedures, practices, and programs.
    Providing guidance to managers in handling employee relations issues and in resolving complaints or disputes.
    Complaints about working conditions
    Discrimination allegations, or other HR related matters.
    Perform administrative tasks, such as preparing disciplines, terminations and other letters/memos as required by operations.

    Work on special projects, such as drafting or updating policy and processes both independently and as part of a team.

    Think you have what it takes to be our People (HR) Advisor ? Minimum two years of experience as an HR Generalist/Specialist/Advisor within a large company, preferably with exposure to unionized associates and collective agreements.

    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or related
    Advanced computer skills including ability to perform HRIS queries (i.e. JD Edwards, SAP), generate reports, perform web-based research, and create case management files in HR ticketing software (i.e. Knowledge of employment labor law in multiple provinces is an asset
    Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
